Fred Grimm
D.O.V.E. Fund member since 2000

After completing high school in his hometown of Minster, Ohio native Fred Grimm attended Ohio State University until drafted by the army in 1968.  The recipient of a Purple Heart, Mr. Grimm was discharged in 1969 and married his hometown classmate, Jill  a few months later. He then completed his studies with a Master's degree from  the University of Toledo in 1973.  Shortly after his graduation, he joined Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company and recently enjoyed his 37th year with the firm. Fred and Jill have two grown children and enjoy frequent visits with their 2 grandchildren.  As active members of the D.O.V.E. Fund from its inception, Fred and Jill travel frequently to Vietnam. A past Chairman, Mr. Grimm is a founding member of the D.O.V.E. Fund and also works on several committees. He currently serves as Vice Chair of Vietnam Projects.  He and Jill reside in Holland, Ohio.
