Ketsana Typhoon Ravages Through Central Vietnam
The Ketsana Typhoon has gone through Quang Tri province and other provinces on Central of Vietnam. This is the biggest Typhoon in the past 24 years. Quang Tri is one of the provinces has been affected the most. According to a report made by People’s Committee of Quang Tri province, there are 5 people died, 33 wounded, 6 lost.
The D.O.V.E. Fund 2009 Vietnam Trip
The D.O.V.E. Fund returned to the USA on May 5th after more than 2 weeks in Vietnam.
Led by Vice President for Vietnam Projects, Do Nguyen and wife, Theresa, the group of 24 arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on April 17th then traveled to Hue, north to Quang Binh province, back to Da Nang and Hoi An, then to Nha Trang and on to Quy Nhon.

Sunshine and blue skies greeted the foursomes at the 9th Annual D.O.V.E. Fund Golf Outing. Held at the lovely South Toledo Golf Club and hosted by owner/operator Greg Fish, also a D.O.V.E. Fund Trustee, this event is one of several fund raisers held throughout the year.
The D.O.V.E. Fund 2009 Auction
Over 200 guests arrived at the Pinnacle in Maumee on Friday afternoon to sip cocktails and browse over 150 silent auction items ranging from a wide screen TV, an Outdoor Gas Grille and jewelry from Vietnam. In addition, a catalog detailing over 20 oral auction items included fishing trips, Red Wing game packages and vacation condos in the Florida Keys.

veterans are part of the D.O.V.E. Fund, an organization committed to
providing humanitarian assistance to the neediest areas of Vietnam. Former soldiers reveal the pain hidden for decades and an unusual process of healing
the invisible wounds of war.
The Hang Tran Story
My parents left Vietnam in the summer of 1979. My mother was nine months pregnant with me. My parents had paid the required amount of money several months prior to secure their position on board a tiny vessel leaving Rach Gia, their hometown, on the southern coast of Vietnam. They were given three days notice of their departure date.
