The Ketsana Typhoon

The Ketsana Typhoon news is a story that needs to be shared explaining the hardship and difficulties that Quang Tri people are suffering through. The Ketsana Typhoon has gone through Quang Tri province and other provinces on Central of Vietnam. This is the biggest Typhoon in the past 24 years. Quang Tri is one of the provinces has been affected most.

According to a report made by People’s Committee of Quang Tri province, there are 5 people died, 33 wounded, 6 lost. The total house affected is 49,054 in which 150 houses were destroyed totally, 2,055 houses’ roof were lifted. Provincial wide, 44 schools were suffered in which Pa Tang school (in Darkarong district) was destroyed 100%. The infrastructure was annulled seriously including electricity system, water system, road, port.....

This Typhoon has stopped for nearly one month, however its consequences have not been recovered yet.
